Film Coating

What is it?

It’s a type of seed coating in which a thin layer of a colored product is applied. The film coating does not change the form or the size of the seed but aims to fix different types of protection products like insecticides or fungicides in a safe way, avoiding that annoying and harmful dust settles during manipulation of the seed at a later time. Film Coating technology can be combined with other services such as priming, cleaning and selection.

What is it for?

  • It sticks antifungal products or insecticides on the seed, avoiding the production of dust.
  • Application of fertilizers and nutrients.
  • Colors the seeds to differentiate them from each other or to check their placement during planting.
